Starry, Starry

This imaginative treehouse hotel is new to the deep forest of Swedish Lapland. It already has seven uniquely designed rooms or cabins. I like the idea of this one designed by INREDNINGSGRUPPEN, a UFO, high up in the pine trees, just below the stars.
A visit to Finland in the summer reawakened a long held interest in Lapland, with its amazing, coloured skies, short summers and long winter snows. It was alarming to hear tales reported of the fierce furry creatures with claws that live in the trees and sometimes drop onto the reindeer herds. I think these would be lynx as in Reidar Sarestoniemi's painting The Lynx, who imagined he was a Jaguar
