Golden Treasures of the Heart

'Golden Treasures of the Heart' is the name of this Chinese Tea. It was a shrunken, winter kernel, a roughly heart-shaped, tiny bundle of dried, twiggy substance. When boiled water is added, it opens and the fragrant golden blossom with a strawberry red heart flavors a refreshing tea. The prettily decorated flower cake was bought at Friday's Cake Sale to raise money to buy monitors for our local prem-baby unit.

  1. Awww it's so perfect! I drink Jasmine tea, and it's a tiny little bud that blooms beautifully when the water is added. Makes me feel like a lady. :)
