My Russian Countess

My copy of Tolstoy's War and Peace still falls open at the Christmas Troyka ride. The young people in their fancy dress, laughing and calling to one another, spill out into the midnight frost and get into four sledges.
'I think this used to be Natasha,' thought Nicholas, 'and that was Madame Schoss, but perhaps it's not, and this Circassian with the moustache I don't know, but I love her.'
So, when Chroma chose Mirja Mills' Raven hair, the hunt was on to complete the outfit for my Russian countess.
Olivia Winterwolf's new Brain Circuit shop on the Blues Bayou sim, with its creeper clad Secret Garden walls, has a range of cruelly tempting clothing. Moreover it caters with equal panache for men and women. Upstairs I found the Lady Eerie Gown, featuring a delicate and swishy fall of layered back petticoats.  The generous Lady Eerie package includes gloves, undies, stockings, a jaunty angled hat and a choker. Chroma teamed this with a Miramode Dentelle shirt, not exactly for extra warmth, nor for modesty but because, well, black lace is Black Lace.

Brain Circuit provided a pair of very tasty heels: Stardust Pumps in Night. Chroma's favourite skin is by another talented Blues Bayou artist, Belladonna Mureaux, whose shop, Nightshade Designs, now lies just across the bridge to Blues Island. Continuing the winter theme, eyes are by Wynter Snow but  hint at hopes of a warmer season in Spring Bouquet.
All that remained was to visit Julia Hathor's Winter Meadow at Creative Fantasy where I found my winter troika dreams from Tolstoy truly matched and shared.
'But here was a fairy forest with black moving shadows, and a glitter of diamonds and a flight of marble steps and the silver roofs of fairy buildings and the shrill yells of some animals.'
