Gold Shoes.

First, I deconstructed a pair of charity shop shoes. They had been well worn. Taking them apart revealed impressive craftsmanship and the signature Ted Baker, gold leather soles provided ample workable leather for making several tiny shoes.
The method of gluing the uppers to an under-sole and subsequently adding an outer sole did not work as the leather was too thick and would not take the glue so I had to improvise with a sturdy, gold leather sole.
The sticky surface of the original shoe was still powerful enough to hold the new shoe together whilst I added decorative fastenings.
