Cara Says...

Blondes are not so dumb!

This different wig certainly suits the dungarees look.

She looks lonely in the winter playground by herself but brother Shel is on his way. His workroom is waiting for him, complete with sheepskin body-warmer for those outside working days.

These pics remind me of something we need to find next ...
'Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.'

Indigo Dungarees Update.

Note to myself: Beware a tendency towards leaving too generous a seam allowance.

It leads to constant unpicking and re-stitching as, in my case, this is unfortunately followed up by an equally strong habit of stitching too close to the edge.

The pair of tulip dungarees Cara is wearing are stolen (borrowed?) from a Middie Blythe. With tucks taken and shorter trouser legs they are a fair size match.

The back opening of the indigo dungarees is pinned back to show the inside edging tacked on with white cotton. Next, the trouser leg bottoms need to be gathered and bound.

Here they are finished.
