Jacket III is currently at the trickiest stage. The jacket in this evolving pattern has a full body-lining, so the fronts and back are waiting to be attached. 'Training the fabric,' teasing and holding it in position with pins and pressing, helps the shape to emerge.
Notes for next time are to cut the collar pieces on the cross and perhaps to experiment with a different size of collar.

The pattern for the jacket was a Blythe Middie pattern found in the Japan Blythe Outfit Book by Nihon Vogue Sha. The fabric for the jacket is from the September Blue collection: 'Buds' designed by Susan Driscoll for Dashwood Studio.
